Course Description

The long course race commences in the southern Polish city of Żywiec and streches eastward along mountainous terrains to the Slovakian border. From there, it loops westward on the Slovakian side, eventually making its way back into Poland. 

This course offers four distinct trekking stages:
- urban orienteering, which uniquely incorporates a swimming segment
- an orientation in a forested mountain terrain, notable for its navigational challenges
- while simpler to navigate, this stage is physically strenuous 
- arguably the most challenging, this stage culminates with competitors reaching the course’s zenith and completing the orienteering section 

Biking enthusiasts can anticipate three stages: 
- stages 1 & 2: both of these are extended and rigorous; they are characterized by numerous uphill climbs, technical rocky trails, as well as sections that are muddy and steep; competitors should be proficient in mountain biking to navigate these legs successfully 
- stage 3: this is a more relaxed segment leading to the finish line, ensuring racers conclude this section with high spirits

There are two stages of water activities: 
- the kayak segment promises to be serene and relatively effortless, unfolding on a picturesque lake nestled amid mountains 
- the rafting section, currently at a WWII difficulty rating, is adjustable based on water level conditions; this takes place on a captivating river, cradled by towering rocky mountains. 

Climbing activities include challenges on both natural rocks formations and a climbing wall. 
These are rated at arround IV UIAA difficulty, with one of the highlights being a thrilling zip-line adventure. 

Additionally, racers will engage in an orienteering run, bike orienteering section, and a variety of special tasks, including navigation. 

A unique feature of this race is a planned train journey, positioned after the third leg. With three scheduled departures (spaced roughly 5 hours apart), racers’ navigation prowess will determine which they board. 

The organizers project the triumphant team to breach the finish line arround midday on Friday, after an intense duration of almost 100 hours.
