Short course - Europe series

Course description - TP100

Completing the entire course requires great physical and mental endurance, as well as navigation skills. The route mostly runs through forested mountainous terrain, reaching elevations of up to 1,200 meters. The optimal course length is 103 km, with a total elevation gain of approximately 3,700 meters. Competitors must reach 47 checkpoints in any order.
Participants will receive detailed tourist maps at a scale of 1:25,000, as well as additional maps, including an orienteering map, a satellite image, and a LIDAR map. Part of the course includes a mandatory passage line and a navigation task requiring competitors to determine checkpoint locations based on azimuth and distance.
Along the route or nearby, there are villages and mountain shelters where supplies can be replenished.
